Coffee Prices Have Broken Out

in Blog, coffee futures, commodity trading, cotton futures, futures trading, Mike Seery, orange juice futures, seeryfutures, sugar futures

Coffee Futures---Coffee futures in the March contract finished up 235 points to close at 132.90 a pound as I'm now recommending a bullish position from right around this level while placing the stop loss at the 10 day low at 124.80 as the risk is around $2,600 per contract plus slippage & commission as the chart structure will start to improve in 4 days therefore lowering the monetary risk, as this is a high risk trade as coffee is the largest cont

Sugar Futures--- Sugar futures in the March contract are up 18 points currently trading at 15.22 a pound reversing yesterday's decline while still trading above its 20 and 100 day moving average as this trend remains to the upside in my opinion.

What Is A Triple Bottom ? Look At Coffee

in Blog, coffee futures, commodity trading, cotton futures, futures trading, Mike Seery, orange juice futures, seeryfutures, sugar futures

What Is A Triple Bottom Chart Pattern ? A pattern used in technical analysis to predict the reversal of a prolonged downtrend.

The pattern is identified when the price of commoditiy creates 3 sell offs at nearly the same price level. The third bounce off the support is an indication that buying interest (demand) is outweighing selling interest (supply) and that the trend is in the process of reversing.

Will Gold Break The $1,300 Level ?

in Blog, commodity trading, copper futures, futures trading, gold futures, Mike Seery, palladium futures, platinum futures, seeryfutures, silver futures

Gold Futures--- Gold futures in the December contract are trading lower by $1 an ounce around $1,290 as I have been recommending a bullish trade from around the $1,292 level & if you took the trade the stop loss has now been raised to $1,274 as the chart structure is outstanding due to the fact that prices are stuck in a tight trading range unable to crack the critical $1,300 level at the present time.

Crude Oil Lower 2nd Day In A Row

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, crude oil futures, futures trading, heating oil futures, natural gas futures, option trading, seeryfutures, unleaded gasoline futures

Crude Oil Futures--- Crude oil futures in the January contract are currently trading lower by $0.15 at 57.84 a barrel down for the 2nd consecutive session as I still remain bullish as I have been recommending a trade from around the 53.15 level & if you took the trade continue to place the stop loss under the 2 week low standing at 55.00, however that will be raised on a daily basis starting tomorrow therefore lowering the monetary risk.

Trading Theory--How Much Should You Risk ?

in Blog, Bonds, commodities, currencies, futures trading, Mike Seery

What Does Risk Management Mean To You? I generally tell people that the reason people lose money in commodities is not due to the fact that they are bad at predicting where prices are headed, however they are bad when it comes to losing trades and refusing to take a loss which results for heavy monetary losses that are difficult to come back from.

I Am Bearish The 10 Year Note

in Blog, Bonds, commodities, currencies, futures trading, Mike Seery

10 Year Note Futures---The 10 year note in the December contract is currently trading lower by 3 points at 125/01 as I am currently not involved in this market, but I have a bearish bias to the downside as worldwide economies are improving especially in the United States coupled with the fact that we have a 17 year low unemployment rate as I think our economy will even improve over the next several years as interest rates are too low at the current time in

Natural Gas Futures--- Natural gas futures in the January contract rallied have sharply over the last 2 trading sessions after hitting a yearly low in last Friday's trade & now has rallied about 25 points over the last 2 sessions currently up another 12 points at 3.14 as I'm currently not involved in this market looking at a possible bullish position in the days ahead.

How High Can The Stock Market Go ?

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, dow jones futures, futures trading, NASDAQ 100 futures, S&P 500, seeryfutures

S&P 500 Futures---The S&P 500 in the December contract is trading higher for the 3rd consecutive session up another 7 points at 2608 continuing with its bullish momentum due to an incredibly strong Black Friday coupled with an extremely profitable Cyber Monday as this gravy train continues as I still remain very bullish the entire equity market.
