Trading Theory--Risk 2% Of Account Balance

What Does Risk Management Mean To You? I generally tell people that the reason people lose money in commodities is not due to the fact that they are bad at predicting where prices are headed, however they are bad when it comes to losing trades and refusing to take a loss which results for heavy monetary losses that are difficult to come back from.

Where Are Silver Prices Going ?

Silver Futures--- Silver futures in the March contract traded higher for the 6th consecutive session creating the classic V formation as prices went straight down in mid December and then straight up as we are right near major resistance as I'm currently sitting on the sidelines waiting for better chart structure to develop.

Natural Gas Higher On Freezing Temps

Natural Gas Futures---Natural gas futures in the February contract are trading sharply higher for the 4th consecutive session up another 9 points at 3.04 right near a 4 week high as record cold temperatures throughout much of the United States pushed prices sharply higher in recent days.

Stay Short The 10 Year Note

10 Year Note Futures--- The 10 year note in the March contract is down 12 points at 123/21 as I have been recommending a bearish position from around the 123/24 level & if you took the trade continue to keep the stop loss at the 125/00 level for another week as I want to give this market some room as I still remain bearish.

Coffee Prices Higher 5th Day In A Row

Coffee Futures--- Coffee futures in the March contract are trading higher for the 5th consecutive session near a 4 week high up another 240 points at 128.60 a pound as it looks to me that a possible bottom may have been completed around the 120 level.

Poor U.S Crop Pushes Cotton Prices To New Highs

Cotton Futures---Cotton futures in the March contract settled last Friday in New York at 75.92 while currently trading at 77.82 up about 190 points for the trading week continuing its bullish momentum due to extremely strong export sales which continue to prop up prices over the last couple of months.

Cocoa Prices Near Major Support Level

Cocoa Futures--- Cocoa futures in the March contract settled last Friday at 1877 while currently trading at 1867 basically unchanged for the trading week experiencing some high volatility as prices are right near major support at the 1850 level which we have touched on multiple occasions over the last 5 months & have rallied every single time.

Crude Oil Looks To Move Higher In 2018

Crude Oil Futures--- Crude oil futures in the February contract settled last Friday in New York at 57.33 a barrel while currently trading at 58.00 up about $0.70 for the trading week continuing its bullish momentum as it looks to me that prices will crack the contract high which was hit on November 24th at 58.99 as I still believe higher prices are ahead despite the fact that I'm not involved in any of the energies at this point.
