Corn Prices Lower In Quiet Trade

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, corn, futures, Mike Seery, oats, option trading, seeryfutures, soybean meal, soybean oil, soybeans, wheat

Corn Futures--- Corn futures in the March contract are trading lower by 1 penny at 3.66 a bushel in a very quiet trading session as I thought the trade could not get much slower, but I'm wrong as this volatility is absolutely pathetic at the present time as there is very little fresh fundamental news to spur prices in either direction.

Natural Gas Futures--- Natural gas futures in the March contract is trading higher by 7 points at 2.62 breaking a 4 day losing streak as I'm currently keeping a close eye on this market for a possible bullish position which would be counter trend trading, however I think the downside is very limited from these depressed levels.

Corn Futures--- Corn futures in the March contract finished up 5 cents reversing last Friday's decline as the whole grain market was higher across the board today continuing its upward momentum as I have recommended 2 bullish trades with an average price of 3.58 & if you took those trades the stop loss remains at 3.56 a bushel as the chart structure is outstanding due to the fact of incredibly low volatility.
