 Grain Futures-- A mixed trading day the grain market today with soybeans hitting contract highs again up another $.14 cents for the May contract closing at 13.49 a bushel and new closing highs for the move while soybean meal which is been the leader in the complex was up another four dollars to close at 366.1 a pound in heavy volume.

Soybeans Higher; Wheat & Corn Lower

Grain Futures-- A mixed day in the grain markets today ahead of tomorrow's crop report which will be released at 7:30 AM central time with corn and wheat lower while soybeans futures continue their bullish run finishing up another $.10 cents in the May contract to finish around 13.37 a bushel also making a new closing contract high.

Grains Sharply Lower

The grain market sold off sharply today with May wheat down $.19 cents to finish at 6.38 a bushel in heavy volume while corn futures for the May delivery ended down $.15 cents to close around 6.39 a bushel pressuring the soybean market to finish down eight cents in the May contract closing around 13.27 a bushel today.

A quiet day in the grains today as soybeans took a breather from recent highs down 8 cents settling around $13.24 a bushel in the May contract while corn has rallied and has broken out above that 6.60 resistance level settling at 6.61 a bushel higher by 6 cents in heavy trade in Chicago. I believe there was profit taking today in the soybean complex after a series of higher closes over the last 3 weeks.
