Oat Futures--- Oat futures in the December contract are trading higher for the 3rd consecutive trading session hitting a new yearly high as I've been recommending a bullish position from around 1.82 and if you took that trade continue to place your stop loss at 2.17 however come Thursday's trade that will be raised to 2.20 as the chart structure is outstanding at the present time.

Where Are Corn Prices Going ?

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, corn, futures, Mike Seery, oats, option trading, seeryfutures, soybean meal, soybean oil, soybeans, wheat

Corn Futures--- Corn futures in the March contract are up 4 cents at 3.49 a bushel this Tuesday afternoon in Chicago still hovering right near a 5 week low as prices really have gone nowhere over the last 6 months and I expect very little volatility for the rest of 2016.

Hog Prices Near A 3 Week Low

in Blog, commodity trading, feeder cattle futures, futures trading, lean hard futures, live cattle futures, livestock futures, Mike Seery, seeryfutures

Lean Hog Futures---Lean hog futures in the February contract are lower by 75 points this Tuesday afternoon in Chicago currently trading at 52.95 near a 3 week low as I'm bearish but this market does not meet my criteria to enter into short position, but keep a close eye as we could be entering a bearish position possibly next week as I have a hard time believing with a strong U.S dollar and all the other commodity markets kind of melting down that hog prices

Sugar Prices Lower 2nd Day

in Blog, Cocoa futures, coffee futures, commodity trading, cotton futures, Mike Seery, orange juice futures, seeryfutures, sugar futures

Sugar Futures--- Sugar futures in the March contract are trading lower for the 2nd consecutive trading session down 30 points at 21.33 a pound as I'm recommending a short position from around the 21.67 level and if you took the trade continue to place your stop loss at the 10 day high which stands at 22.59 as that will be lowered come Friday to 22.50 then the chart structure will not improve for several weeks so you will have to accept the monetary r

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, dow jones futures, futures trading, NASDAQ 100 futures, S&P 500, seeryfutures

S&P 500 Futures--- The S&P 500 in the December contract is up another 4 points now within about 1% from all-time highs as the Dow Jones Industrials are at record territory as I've talked about in previous blogs I'm extremely bullish the stock market as we head into 2017 as I think growth is finally upon us as that is a very bullish fundamental indicator to push prices higher in my opinion.

Silver Prices Sharply Lower Again

in Blog, commodity trading, copper futures, futures trading, gold futures, Mike Seery, palladium futures, platinum futures, seeryfutures, silver futures

Silver Futures--- This trade has been hard to swallow as I was recommending a bullish position in the March mini contract around 18.35 getting stopped out today around the $17 level as the mini contract was extremely thin and difficult to get out of as I made a mistake & I apologize to all my customers as I should have been in the December contract as going forward I will always stick with the front month as I was trying to save money on the

Oat Prices Defy Reality

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, corn, futures, Mike Seery, oats, option trading, seeryfutures, soybean meal, soybean oil, soybeans, wheat

Oat Futures--- Oat futures in the March contract settled higher by 3 cents to close at 2.28 a bushel which is remarkable in my opinion as the grain market went south once again as I was stopped out of soybeans in today's trade as the oat market remains resilient and if you took the original trade from 1.82 continue to place your stop loss 10 below the 10 day low which remains at 2.17 and will be raised in Thursdays trade to 2.20 bushel.

I Am Short Sugar

in Blog, Cocoa futures, coffee futures, commodity trading, cotton futures, Mike Seery, orange juice futures, seeryfutures, sugar futures

Sugar Futures--- Sugar futures in the March contract finished down around 7 points this Monday afternoon in New York as I am now recommending a bearish position from around the 21.68 level and if you decide to take this trade continue to place your stop loss above the 10 day which stands at 22.59 risking around 100 points or $1,100 per contract plus slippage and commission as the commodity markets have suddenly turned very weak due to an incredibly stron

Soymeal Prices Higher Despite Grain Weakness

in Blog, commodity consulting, commodity trading, corn, futures, Mike Seery, oats, option trading, seeryfutures, soybean meal, soybean oil, soybeans, wheat

Soybean Meal Futures--- Soybean meal futures in the December contract are trading higher by 270 points as I've been recommending a bullish position from 316 over the last month and if you took the trade continue to place your stop loss under the 10 day low which stands at 304 as I'm currently stopped out of soybeans still hanging in there on soybean meal as the commodity markets look weak due to the fact of an extremely strong U.S dollar.<

Dollar Index Futures--- The U.S dollar in the December contract is trading higher for the 6th consecutive trading session up another 115 points currently at 100.20 prices that we have not seen since March 2015 as this market looks to be headed higher in my opinion, however I am sitting on the sidelines as the chart structure does not meet my criteria to enter into a position, however I am certainly not recommending any type of bear
