Are The Lows In Cotton In Place?

15 Mar in Blog, cotton futures, futures broker

Cotton Futures-- Cotton futures today traded in a very tight range finishing only higher by $.20 points to finish at 87.340 a bale in very light trade in New York today. The grain market shot higher to the upside today but that could not help cotton prices out at all and in my opinion I still think cotton will have much less planted acres than what the traders are expecting and that could  push prices higher in the coming months. I believe that the contract lows are in which were hit in mid-December last year, however we could see some sideways action going into the spring and summer months. In my opinion I would look at buying call spreads or just outright calls in this market for the December contract which is considered the new crop or the crop that will be planted this year because volatility is very low and I’m very bullish all of the commodities except for a select few.. If you are looking to take advantage of extremely low cotton prices please call Michael Seery at 800-615-7649 and he will show you how to invest in cotton futures or options.
