Gold Futures-- Gold futures were sharply lower Wednesday afternoon in New York with the December contract selling off by $22 an ounce to close around 1,390 after rallying $16 yesterday in a real seesaw trade this week as tensions in Syria are starting to ease as the United States attack might happen or it might not happen in the coming weeks.
